Our Principal, Sister Margaret Dennison, received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Edward Waters College, where she minored in psychology. Soon after graduation, Mrs. Dennison accepted a position with the Alachua County School Board. There, she served for eighteen years, providing her students with loving instruction. It was during Sister Dennison's tenure that she observed over-crowded classrooms, which limited individualized student-teacher interactions. Sister Dennison, along with her husband Pastor Larry James Dennison, envisioned and created the Compassionate Outreach Ministries Christian Academy, a  Christian-oriented educational environment that furthers, enhances and impacts student learning.
