It is a marvelous work that God is doing! On Saturday, March 24, 2007, C.L.U.R.T International and Compassionate Outreach Ministries gathered together to carry forth the will of God concerning the ordination and consecration of His servant, Dr. Larry James Dennison. The call that was adhered to spiritually elevated Dr. Dennison into God's chosen office of Bishop. The Chief Consecrator of the service was Bishop George Bloomer, who serves the dual role of Chief Prelate of C.L.U.R.T. International and Senior Pastor of Bethel Worship Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Since the days of the apostles and throughout the scriptures, God has used sacred offices and ministries to guide the Church to the fulfillment of its purpose. The New Testament and the Book of Common Prayer outline the use and purpose of sacred office. The order of Bishops are those called to lead, oversee and unite the church. They guide and teach others to fulfill Christ's commission in the world.

Bishop Dennison is a man who has proven himself to be an exceptional shepherd for God's church. He has committed his life to seeking out, drawing in and caring for Christ's young lambs and mature sheep. He feeds members the undiluted word of God, providing food to help the body grow strong in the Lord. Bishop Dennison also fights for members in the spiritual realm - consistently going to God in prayer and confronting the enemy to rebuke his plans in the matchless name of Jesus. As the shepherd of Compassionate Outreach Ministries, Bishop Dennison also corrects members through Godly counsel to draw the sheep back in to the flock when they have gone astray. He truly cares about the souls of God's people and he does all that he can to ensure that each person takes their rightful place in the Kingdom of God. Most importantly, Bishop Dennison sets a godly example for members to follow. The lambs and sheep are able follow the man of God as he follows Christ.

Bishop Dennison is called of God and he has demonstrated that he is capable in the calling. As such, he has been recognized by the church to ordained ministry. His ability and gifting has been acknowledged through ceremonial prayer and the laying on of hands. The members of Compassionate Outreach Ministries rejoice in the elevation of their leader. Even more, they recognize that there is a special connection between a shepherd and the sheep that he oversees. The sheep follow after the shepherd. As Bishop Dennison, the shepherd of Compassionate Outreach Ministries ascends, the sheep also ascend. Compassionate Outreach Ministries is moving into a new dimension of faith, a new dimension of power, a new dimension of revelation and a new dimension of dominion!
